no, I didn't, but I'm not surpirised. It is a legitimate concern among pro-choicers that coat hangers will be the abortion of the future.

you can't "ban" coathangers. If you mean banning the act of attempting abortion by using a coat hanger, that would be illegal simply by being a type of abortion. If you mean banning the purchase or possession of coathangers, then that's impossible. There are far too many coathangers in existence. I personally have several hundred. Besides, the question of whether something is illegal or not is secondary for most women who would want/need and abortion.

If they have no money and no health care, alicia how will they afford the abortion? Health care isn't that important. I havent been to the doctor in 3 years, and I hardly get sick, most of the time ibprophen will cure everything. It strengthens your immune system. The only time you really need it is if you have something seriosly wrong. OMG! drown the pups! you can find specially made milk for puppies and kittens in most super markets! You could take care of the pups yourself. Bass- you are comparing death to someone not getting an abortion. I don't really think this is a good comparison.

I wasn't comparing death to not having an abortion, I was comparing having a constant burden (paralysis from the waist down) to a constant burden that costs $$$ (having a kid). If given the choice, you'd choose to be able to walk again. If given the choice, most people would choose to lose the kid. Does that show lack of responsibility? Hell yes, but sometimes it is safer and better for everyone involved to have an abortion.
And about the money - even without healthcare or money, an abortion is a LOT cheaper than RAISING A CHILD TO THE AGE OF AT LEAST 18. A few thousand dollars for an abortion or a HUNDRED thousand (ish) to raise the kid to have an even decent life. I think the choice is simple.

yes, I agree with bass, in the long run abortion is ALOT cheaper then raising a child, but just because it's cheaper doesn't mean you should go for it, only under specific circumstances which we may have pointed out earlier in this thread and to add insult to injury no. I'm a dish washer.I decided I like it there, I just have to talk more. No anti travolta rule, which is good because if there was i'd be forced to turn to Satan. When will they start putting me on more "not dishwashing stuff" like salads, stuffed trout, ect... See, you hardly ever look at any of the alternatives, this i just one example of such, there is much more then just "Christianity" and "Satanisim" have you ever considered, budhisim, Hindiusim, Athiesim, and any other one of those things? You keep thinking narrow, you need to not open your eyes, but to open them through another person's eyes, look at different points of view, hell even i could of done that when I believed in "god", think how it would feel like to be someone else, don't be so narrow minded, just because you feel a certain way about something, doesn't mean the other person will too, I (numerous times throughout the forum) have put myself in a diffrent person's point of view, both opposing and upholding my points of view (though i have not shown it alot, mainly because one seemed to be more logical then the other, which shouldn't really be the main point of this argument). What i'm trying to say is, if you're going to argue about roleplay be someone else for a minute, a second, anything! (yes, i do understand that the church believed D&D to be "satanistic", wether they do now isn't really any important, but before you bash me with religous points of view on how "role playing" is bad, think twice, because some feel that magic is evil too) Now back to the point, pretend you're someone else with completely different ideals then you, different morals, family, etc. Would you still feel the same way? What you are going through in my opinion probably called Postconventional, the 3rd level of moral reasoning, in this stage a person makes decisions based on abstract, more personal principles that aren't necessarily defined by society's laws basicly, you make decisions based on how you personally feel Although sometimes it may seem that your opinions/feelings of abortion are more that of level 2 "Conventional Moral reasoning" which is (I think) basicly how your family, religon, would say and/or react upon your actions. Although it may have seemed that i completely changed the topic many times, i haven't, i broke it down into different structures so to speak, you are unable to look through different points of view, and by possibly pointing out which level of moral reasoning you were using, perhaps i could possibly dig deeper into your mind and see why you still feel the same way about abortion, please note that this post was not[/b] meant to bash, flame, and/or mock you in any sort of way, but merely to help you imagine yourself as another person to see how he or she would feel about such a topic as this.
