Actually, it contains whatever kind of references you decide it to contain. We've had references to basically everything discussed on this site (save, like, Halo...hmmm...perhaps next adventure....) so whatever you want to reference and use, go for it.
Basically... -- Godmoding is only allowed within reason (ie no making people die, disappear, etc.). -- Plot advancements should only be made with proper forethought and maybe even some AIM discussion with people. -- There is no methed for determining hits, misses, fights, etc. This isn't D&D. The only thing that determines fights is the general power levels set for people (for instance, I, currently, would be more powerful, than, say, Stalin, albeit not by a whole helluva lot. Villains are almost always more powerful in one or more aspects (except Viper. Heh)) and your own limitations. For good examples of what NOT to do, look at some of Soul's early posts. (-=ZING!=-) -- Proper grammar is expected. Long-well written posts are good. Comedic interludes are also good, as long as they aren't too long or story-destroying. -- NPCs introduced by you will more than likely be picked up by everyone, but plot advancements about them (their death, love interests, power increases or decreases, etc.) should be handled by you. -- DO NOT BE ALL-POWERFUL. This is the single easiest way to kill an adventure and piss people off. -- Be creative. Just because you have Fireball and Shock in your spell repetoire doesn't mean that all you can do with them is throw them at people while you stand still. You can run, jump, dodge, etc. You can also be innovative. If a machine needs power, several Shocks may do the trick. Don't let preconcieved notions of what something does limit you to what it can do. -- DO NOT BE ALL-POWERFUL. I say this again just in case you forgot. -- Read up on the Adventures and be sure of the established histories. Thinking Bane or Zugema is dead or that Morb has already killed Yawgmoth (Haha Piññy) or similar such things is bad and can lead to many, many confusions and, in some cases, misled storylines. I may, in the near future, start writing out people's Adventure Histories so that things may be more clearly determined.
Addendums (is that the right word, Elfie?) to this Guide may be added at any time, just so you know. Also, I claim no responsibility if anything goes wrong.

Actually, we did a brief interlude with some Halo stuff in the video-game adventure (#7, I thoink). In fact, I might still have some plasma grenades lying around somewhere. As for the rest of Bass's post... I concur.

After posting, I realized that, but that Adventure was odd and I don't real count that as "referencing" anything, per se.

Oh feel free to post all you want. Just avoid any HUGE plot changes and you will be good. Usually the plot just kinda naturally works its way to a conclusion through lots of slow plot advancers.

Yeah. Don't feel like you have to write a whole damn chapter right away. Often people will only write a few sentences. Write however much you like with whatever time you have.

Go for it! It's good fun, even if you aren't good at it, but I can't imagine it being a problem for you. Whenever you have time, and all that jazz.

Yeah... really Reechani, you have nothing to be intimidated about. You're smart enough that you should be fine, and at least this way I won't be the only one making Sword of Truth references.
