(OOC: Welcome to the adventure Uurion...Hope that the rest of your posts are as amazing as that one ) DarkAngel looks around the room through his deep brown eyes, finally resting on the argument between the Elf and the one called Bass. Shaking his head, he finds a corner away from the rest of the group and sits down in it. He reaches over his left shoulder, and draws his sword out infront of him. Gripping the massive blade in his right hand, he stares at the item given to him by his people, shortly after becoming ruler of Jihova. They had said it was their most powerful artifact, and no one but himself had been able to wield it before. Approximately 5 feet in length, with a large blood-red ruby incrusted into the hilt, this sword, which he called Keilda, has never once failed him. DarkAngel begins to mutter under his breath, in a tounge that few would understand. As if it were just awaken from a long slumber, Keilda begins to glow blue. DarkAngel, his attention solely fixed on the glowing blade, failed to see piñata cross the dark room, and seat himself beside him. "That blade you have there, it seems to be quite powerful. Where did you get it?" says piñata, causing DarkAngel's head to jolt away from his blade suddenly, causing it to stop glowing. "It was given to me by my people on Jihova." DarkAngel replied shortly. He couldn't bring himself to meet piñata's eyes...There was just something too familiar about that gaze that caused his stomach to turn. "Why were you talking to it?" piñata asks, curiousity filling his voice. "I must recite this incantation every day, or the blade will become useless, reverting back to an ordinary sword," replied DarkAngel, his eyes still fixated on his sword. "Now if you will excuse me, I need to finish my incantations," DarkAngel says sharply, wanting piñata to leave. Taking his hint, piñata gets up, and leaves. DarkAngel does not start his incantations yet, his mind was too occupied with the memory of his old friend, and the man who had just visited him. The similarities between them were shocking. Both had the same hint of youth in their voice. Shaking his head, DarkAngel begins to recite his incantations.

Piñata sees the pale, sinister being he noticed earlier giving him a strange, almost searching look from across the room. When Piñata meets his gaze, however, the other quickly lowers his eyes. With a sudden flash of insight, Piñata realizes that the unusual being is worried that the others will be afraid of him. Never pausing to think that there might actually be a reason to fear this man, Piñata walks across the room to him and introduces himself. ((OOC: sorry for the delay)) *Pinata walks up to Apey. As he gets closer, ApeKiller tries harder and harder to concentrate on something else. Pinata starts talking to Apey, who is staring at the floor* Pinata: Hey, i'm Pinata...you seem lonely Ape(while looking away from Pinata): ... You aren't afraid of me? Pinata: Why would I be? *ApeKiller, with his pale white skin and eyes, turns his head and stares into Pinata's eyes* ApeKiller: Most people are, my race is feared on my plane. Pinata: So you kill people? ApeKiller: ...no...but others of my race do. I'm only half vampire...my heart is still human. Most people can't see that, they see what i look like and run off screaming. And then the other vampires have abandoned me...and now...well, its none of your business Pinata: Well, hey, do you know where your going on this quest? ApeKiller: Somewhat...i'd rather not talk about it. *Apes eyes begins to grow wet*(rest of race wiped out, incase you forgot) Apey: She said i'd find my purpose later Pinata: Well, i'm headed to a forest *pinata stops himself suddenly* ...maybe we can be a team. ApeKiller: Whatever *Pinata walks off* ApeKiller(to himself) ...the forest...he can help me

(OCCthingamabobber: Sorry guys, kinda was under a rock for the last few days)
Arnostale starts in to see the seer, turning back, taking one more look behind her, she disappeared into the shadows.
She enters not knowing what to expect, and sees nothing.
Arnostale is surprised by a voice from the corner..
Seer: "Sit"
reluctantly Arnostale sits.
Seer: You have a long journey ahead.
Arnosatle ( her voice filled with sarcasm): Wow, didn't expect that one coming.
The seer glares at her sending chills down her spine, making her fur stand on end.
Seer: You seek revenge, yet your strongest enemy dwells within.
Arnostale thinks about this for a moment and starts to leave.. Arnostale is thrown back as she tries to exit.
Seer(with a smirk): I was not finished, and you'd be wise to listen.
Seer: You will not return to your plane the same as when you started this journey, you may not return to your plane. You are very wise Arnostale, do not let arrogance and spite cloud your judgement.
With that the Seer falls silent, and Arnostale steps back near the crowd of people.
Her eyes glance upon the others in the room.
She waits impatiently for Morbaruk to speak..
Arnostale: What a waste of time.

DarkAngel finishes his incantations and and his sword flashes a bright blue once, then reverts back to it's dull glow. DarkAngel looks up around the room, and sees the one known as Arnostale exiting the Seeress' chamber. Thinking that this is all a waste of time, DarkAngel looks up at the one who had brought them all to this place. Lord Morbaruk's jet black eyes follow Arnostale closely as she leaves the Seeress' chamber and makes her way across the room. He was the only one yet to visit the woman.
"Why have you not entered the Seeress' chambers like the rest of us?" Bass asks Morbaruk, a look a deep hatred in his eyes.
"I will do so in time, do not attempt to tell me what to do," Morbaruk replies, not moving his eyes.
DarkAngel feels a sudden rage rising up within him. Getting to his feet, he turns towards Morbaruk, his eyes ablaze with fury.
"Look Morbaruk, everybody here except you has more important things to be doing with their time than idling around in a dark chamber letting you order us around. You seem to underestimate all of us, you act as if you can push us all around like your play things." DarkAngel bellows at the dark lord sitting on his throne, drawing his sword in the process. His blade glows blue as it is drawn, seemingly feeling the same rage within it's owner.
Morbaruk turns towards DarkAngel, his eyes still jet black. "Geroth, I do not underestimate you, but it is you all who underestimate the enormity of this task. I will see the Seeress when the time is right, no sooner, no later, now please put that blade away." Morbaruk replies.
DarkAngel holds Morbaruk's gaze for a few more moments, then turns his head in disgust, sheathing is blade in the process.

*Piñata watches the exchange between Morbaruk and Geroth with interest, grateful that something is finally happening. After Geroth sheathes his blade, Piñata addresses Morbaruk.*
"Some of us are Planeswalkers, and do not have to wait here doing nothing. I will give everybody fifteen minutes to prepare for the journey, and if you are not ready to leave by that time I will not remain here any longer."

"Some of us are Planeswalkers, and do not have to wait here doing nothing. I will give everybody fifteen minutes to prepare for the journey, and if you are not ready to leave by that time I will not remain here any longer."
Mor'Baruk merely looks amused at this statement.
"You just try and leave, and see how easily you do so, " the dark lord says with a chuckle.
"This chamber is surrounded by an extremely powerful ban, a webbing of mana that will prevent anyone from leaving it, planeswalker or no. You attempt to 'walk through it, or even I attempt to 'walk through it, and we would be bounced back into the chamber, at considerable expence to our dignity and our rumps."
At this, the mighty and venerable planeswalker (who was not sitting on a throne and does not have jet eyes, they are currently brown...) walked slowly voer to the door to the chamber containing the seer.
Giving one final glance around the room, and for good measure casting Enervate on everyone present(they would never even know they had been frozen), he entered.
"You have finally come," spoke the seer, in a voice that was little more thana whisper.
"Now you shall hear of your destiny, and it is the most important one of all. Heed me carefully, for the fate of all others is bound to yours. You must do battle with the greatest enemy this multiverse has ever faced. More powerful than Lord Sauron of middle-earth, more powerful than the Warlock Lord of the Four Lands, more powerful even than Yawgmoth, or any planeswalker ever in existence. I will not tell you more of this foe, noly that you will be hard-pressed to defeat him, but you must find a way. The lives of all within the multiverse depend on it. He intends to subvert all peoples to his cause, to make them all his slaves, and any who oppose hi will be crushed beneath is mighty heel. You must defeat him, even should it mean your own death.
Protect the members of your party well, for they do not have the knowledge and strentgh that you posess. Some are near to your equal, and may seek to challenge your leadership. Be firm, but do not go so far as to kill any of them. planeswalkers at least can regenerate lost limbs, so maybe an object leson or two would be proper at some point.
Go now, and begin your journey. Let the others help you find your way. it is they that must find the enemy, but you who must defeat him. While it is your destiny that hangs over all others, you need this company to get you to your opponent."
With this, the seer closed her eyes, and seemed to go to sleep. Knowing he would get no more out of her, the dark lord Mor'Baruk, one of the oldest and most powerful planeswalkers currently in existence, stepped out of the chamber, and willed it away. He waved a hand at his companions, unfreezing them, and prepared himself mentally for the journey ahead.

*Elfie stares in amusement as Morb blips from one corner of the room to the other*
Elf-Girl (whispering): That was an odd trick. Why did he quantum tunnel across the room like that? Elfie (whispering): He didn't. *looks at a clock on the wall* And my watch is now 2:13 behind the clock on the wall. Elf-Girl (whispering): What?! Elfie (whispering): Shh, there's no reason to make an issue of this yet. Check if there have been any spells cast on us. Elf-Girl (whispering): None. Elfie (whispering and activating a device): And he hasn't put anything on us. Elf-Girl (whispering): This is weird.
Morb: Alright, let's go. Ape: But you still need to visit the seer. Morb: Let's just say I know what she'll say.
*Elfie and the Elf-Girl exchange knowing glances*
Elfie(whispering): I bet her speech would have been about 2:13 long. Elf-Girl(whispering): I agree. Elfie: Alright Lord Morbaruk. Let's get going. I assume you have all the information you need. *smiles* Otherwise you would need a second visit.
Bass: What do you mean, "second visit"? Morb: He means what he said. Let's get going.

DarkAngel watches as Morbaruk seemingly flashes across the room in an instant. He instantly knew what had happened, having prior experience with the spell, and his anger began to rise again as the thought crossed his mind.
"Lord Morbaruk, why do you believe it nessecary to cast spells on us to hide your visit to the Seeress?" DarkAngel asks Morbaruk, the tone of anger evident in his voice.
Morbaruk simply smiles at this. "I do not have to explain anything to you Geroth, I can do as I please."
DarkAngel begins to shake with fury as Morbaruk speaks his true name. "My true name is reserved only for those I consider friends Lord Morbaruk. You, are far from my friend."
Morbaruk's smile only widens with this. "I shall lose sleep every night because of that Geroth." His voice rich with sarcasm.
DarkAngel has to use every last bit of his will to restrain himself from attacking Morbaruk at that instant, but common sense took over, knowing Morbaruk to be his superior. "Look, if you expect us all to follow you on this quest of yours, start treating us with some more respect. We don't have to be here." With this, he turns his back on the lord, without saying a word, and walks off to the other members of the group.

The dark lord turned now to face the entire party.
"Alright. All of you now know why you are here, and have had your visits with the seer. I assume there will be no more questions, as I cannot tell you anything the seer did not.
I do not plan to keep you all with me by force. I do not believe that we can all be successful if we are constantly fighting amongst ourselves. I know there will be some infighting nonetheless, but I do not want to be the primary cause of it. You all now know the gravity of the situation. The fate of all those within the multiverse rests upon our shoulders. Should any of you choose to leave, I will not stop you, but I can assure you that the quest will fail, and you will have to deal with the consequences of our failure soon enough.
I apologize for my attitude towards some of you, but there is great urgency attached to this quest, and it can be a little overwhelming. Add to that the fact that I have been a bit removed from the multiverse at large for several thousand years, and I hope you can understand why i may not be very understanding of some of your current problems. I have to try and remember what it was like being mortal to relate to some of you, and this will be very difficult to me.
Now, those of you who can planeswalk, simply keep with me. Those others of you, I can offer two options. You can swallow a cyst, designed by the planeswalker Urza, allowing you to form a protective bubble around yourself to protect you from the ravages of interplanar travel, or one of the 'walkers can cast a spell on you to make you two-dimensional, and transport you that way."
Mor'Baruk watched and waited for their responses.

I, unfortunately, don't have a choice. My plane or whatever is stuck in this damned crystal, so I'm stuck with you. I'll take the cyst, thank you. Being two-dimensional doesn't make me giggle with anticipation.

Morb: This is our location.

Elfie: Fascinating. Elf-Girl: You just like it because it's shiny. That's the only thing that ever catches your eye. Elfie: I don't know. You don't reflect light very well and I noticed you. Elf-Girl: That's because I'm a shining example of perfection. Elfie: Something like that.

DarkAngel looks around in awe at the world the group was just transported to. He turns his attention to Morbaruk, who just collapsed to the ground. The others stand dumbstruck at the turn of events.
Pinata is the first to speak up. "Does this mean we get to go home?" He asks.
"I'm...not sure." Bass replies. "All I know is that if I can get my plane out of that crystal, I'm out of here.
Bass searches over the body of Morbaruk, looking for something to destroy the crystal that his plane is in. He finds nothing.
"Anyone got any idea how to get my plane out of here?" Bass asks the group.
"Not unless you want to risk it being destroyed." DarkAngel replies.
"Great. Looks like I'm stuck here." Bass sighs.
The group is silent for a few moment, taking the chance to survey the land around them again.
"Hmmm...anyone notice something strange here?" Pinata asks.
"There's no one around." DarkAngel replies.
"Yea. Looks like Morby here lead us here for a reason," Bass says, "let's find out why."
"What are we going to do about him?" Pinata asks, motioning towards Morbaruk's body.
"Who cares?" Bass replies.
The group begins to explore the deserted city, attempting to find out what caused the lack of life.

(OOC: I have a bad feeling about that dagger. Is that just because I'm reading The Wheel of Time? ) Piñata looks around at all the industrial and mechanical abominations with great distaste. He makes up his mind not to stay on this plane one second longer than he has to. Wondering if the life on this plane is as tainted as the structures, his hand moves nervously toward his sword, fingering the bronze heron on its hilt.
