So this new machine isn't too shabby but the video card is TERRIBLE! I bought a game that i've really been looking foward to for awhile, called Titan Queest. Here is a comparison of what is needed and what i have.
CPU (speed) Minimum: 1.8Ghz Intel Pentium 4 (3Ghz recommended) I Have: 2.8 Ghz Intel Pentium D, but then it says i have 2 running thats clocking in at 4.19 Ghz, not sure how that works but it's well over the recommended requirements
Memory Minimum: 256MB RAM (1GB recommended) I have: 1GB (1,014MB) RAM
Video Card: Minimum: 64 MB (128 recommended) I have: 224MB
The problem? My video card doesn't support alot of lighting affect, which is required for almost every recent game out there. It really blows. So what i'm looking for is a CHEAP video card that can handle something like Titan Quest. Any ideas?

What do you consider cheap is the first question. If you're looking for something under 100 i would go with radeon 9800. In fact, I think you can get those for less then 75 now. They have 256mb, some have video out, and can handle all but the top (top) games of today at full graphics.

Thanks Stalin, I looked it up on Newegg.com and it shows 3 of them, 2 for $60 and 1 for $72. The main issues with my current card is it doesn't support "Video HW tranform & lighting" and "Vertex Shader" which is required to play Titan Quest *sad* This card pretty much sounds exactly like what i'm looking for. Pretty cheap and could hopefully handle this game. Anyone else have a suggestion?

Hmmm, i'll look into it. I made this thread on at a couple other sites, some computer-tech-related sites, and here is a few of the suggestions. 9600 All in Wonder ( link) Someone said they could run Titan Quest on this thing fine. I didn't ask what settings he was running it on, but i will soon. The fact that it can run the game at all is reason enough for me to want it GeForce 7300GS 256MB ( link) 256MB, the recommended for the game is 128 and minimum is 64 so it should be ok. Its also SUPER cheap, less than $65. I'm just not sure if it will actually run the game, even if it doesn i'll probably have to play it on lower settings...so meh. x800gto ( link) 2 problems, i MIGHT not have enough power to run it (although another guy said i should) and i might not have enough space for it, since my computer is compact. This seems to be the pick though, everyone suggests buying this if my computer can handle it. Its only $90 too. I'm really leaning towards this. So its basically either the x800gto, All in Wonder, or possibly the 9800 The 6800 is a bit out of my price range. I don't really want to pay 190 dollars for a card just to play 1 or 2 games.

Makes sense.
On the Titan Quest boards someone said the x800gto is good for a few months then kinda dies. Actually his exact words were "blows up" but yea...everyone else seems to think its the card to go for if my computer doesn't suck to much.... *shrug*

Whoa, i read on the Gamespot forums that a guy was running the game with a Geforce 5200. The board - Just read the very last message, he plays it on medium settings, which is fine for me. and the card can be found here for $60 after shipping!!! This would be perfect, although i'm not sure if it is compatible with the rest of my computer... So the All in Wonder and the 5200 will both run the game...and are both cheap. Still don't know if my computer can handle the x800gto... Still havnt bought anything though and have no idea what i should buy.
