Check it out www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsdt_200?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~tab=specstab#tabtopThere is one thing i notice though, on that page it says it only has 512(single channel) RAM but when i was customizing it my only choices were 1, 2, or 4 gigs. *shrug* It should have 1gb dual channel Also it was ordered monitorless making it $200 cheaper. My only problem now is my slow connection, once i get a faster connection though i will deffinitely be playing WoW. Edit- I just noticed i had the choice to put a better video card on it for only $25...d'oh!

0.0 It doesn't matter, there's no chance of me getting a faster connection so i'm stuck with Dial-up.

As I believe I've stated before, play on Mannoroth. I can totally help you out and shiz. Also, DA, get the Fork back onto Manno.

If i was going to start a new account, it would be another a server that wasn't PvP. PvE would be easier until i learned how to play and everything. Then possibly if i made a second account i would make it on your server, or get mine moved if thats possible. My computer can indeed handle it pretty easily, but doesn't support some of the lighting effects used in the high details (see the "need video card recommendations" thread for details) so i can run it no problem. But all of this doesn't really matter though, i'm still stuck with dial-up connection and probably won't be able to play it. But then again, i play Runescape on High Detail and it runs fine...so maybe running WoW on the lowest details wouldn't be too shabby...but i doubt it, and i'm not going to buy a game i can't play (again) Someone should test it on Dial-Up and see how well it plays.

Actually, being on a PvP server still allows you to learn the game.
For the first 20 or so levels, you have no chance of being ganked because you're in your faction's territory. When you're in your faction's territory, you're not marked for PvP, so the only way you get attacked is if you attack first. It's a nice way Blizzard keeps level 4's from getting constantly killed.

Yea but you can't really venture out anywhere because you'll likely be killed. I'm not saying its a bad thing, but i'd like my first/main account to be on a PvE world so that i can wonder about in newb-form without worrying about being killed by the other faction. Is there any way to move characters to different servers? That would be a possible option aswell...if i actually had the game.

Actually, you can't really "wander around" on a PvE server, either. Mobs will kill you if you're anything less than a few levels under them. It's quite bothersome.
In other words, no Dark Portal until you're at least in the 50's.
Also, you can't move characters except during server changes, and those are usually from over-populated realms to horribly under-populated ones.

Blizzard opened up character transfers for $25 a character. Your realm has to be listed, but the list contains a tonne of realms. Also, you can't go from PVE -> PVP.
