Ever gotten an idea for a game and thought "Damn, I wish they would make that"? Happens to me all the time. Share some of your game ideas here.
Metal Band An offshoot of the Rock Band franchise. In addition to the soundtrack, that would be mostly-totally metal (could have some punk or something splashed in there), there would be some gameplay and other modifications.
-Would be have uncensored lyrics and an M rating, possibly with a clean version also available.
-Would have "metal vocals" mode: Parts of the vocal track that are yelled would be pitch sensitive, but the grading would be more lenient.
-Would have "instrument and vocal mode": One player could play as vocals, as well as guitar, bass, or drums. If this was enabled, the player would have one overdrive meter, one avatar, one score/multiplier/etc., and the vocal track would be positioned closer to their instrument track.
-More instrument combinations: Guitar would be split into lead and rhythm, so you could have any 3 of the 4 available instruments, plus a lead vocalist and a backing vocalist for some songs.
-Accessories: Drum kit would include a double bass pedal, and with the master pack and sold separately would be a flying V guitar and a warlock bass.
-Soundtrack: Here are some of the songs I would put in this game (Ape, if you have any suggestions to add, I'll accept them. I have a feeling some of the things I've listed won't be real metal in your opinion, but you have to make it user friendly to sell discs)
3 Inches of Blood - Deadly Sinners Accept - Sick, Dirty and Mean Anthrax - Caught in a Mosh Brian Posehn - Metal by Numbers Black Label Society - Devil's Dime Children of Bodom - Needled 24/7 Dethklok - Mermaider Disturbed - Ten Thousand Fists Dying Fetus - Praise the Lord (Opium of the Masses) God Forbid - To the Fallen Hero GWAR - Bring Back the Bomb In Flames - Pinball Map Lamb of God - Beating on Death's Door Mastodon - Blood and Thunder Pantera - Walk Scar Symmetry - The Illusionist Slayer - War Ensemble Soilwork - Black Star Deceiver Static-X - Get to the Gone Suicidal Tendencies - Possessed to Skate Trivium - Anthem (We are the Fire) Tyr - Ragnarok Venom - Black Metal
Some more titles to come: X-Gun, Suicide: The Game, Grand Theft Auto: Mid Atlantic, Gods of War, and a few more I can't think of good titles for off the top of my head

I like the idea, and while I'm not a fan of alot of the bands on there, I can understand why having a diverse soundtrack is important. I can't be bothered to think of individual tracks, but a list of bands in terms of difficutly (and a cool song or 2 by them off the top of my head) Easy: Torture Killer (Cannibal Gluttony) Jungle Rot (Immersed in Pain, Virus, or Red Skies) Medium: Psycroptic (Colour of Sleep, The Sword of Uncreation) Hard(technical): Necrophagist (ANYTHING by necrophagist) Hard(Speed): Kalmah? (Swamplord album, or "Tordah") Did you know there was a Death Metal racing game? I remember seeing it once online somewhere, I'll have to look for it again (I'll edit this post if I find it before a new post is made.) I remember they had a car for The Berzerker, and I think Cannibal Corpse had a car too. Edit: Here it is, Earache Extreme Metal RacingAs for a cool game I think they whould make. Hell, I just want a demolition derby game for my PS3! Damn, that would look amazing!

A few of the other ones I have:
X-Gun Sort of a first person shooter/platformer/puzzle game. I guess like a combination of Mirror's Edge (the parkour game that came out a few months back), Portal, and there's this game I saw my neighbor play called fracture, where the unique thing about it is you got a gun that could alter terrain.
So, using acrobatic skills, a portal gun, a terrain modifying gun, maybe a gravity gun, and other unique weapons, you have to make it from point A to point B.
Suicide: The Game Will probably never even be considered for production on a console because of the fervor it would stir up, but in each level, your character has to find a way to end his own life. This idea sort of spawned from "how high would you have to jump from to die instantly? I wish there was a video game I could test it out with"
GTA: Midantlantic Run of the mill GTA game, but taking place in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington DC.
Gods of War God of War series sequel. Kratos travels to the great Northlands and finds a viking warrior like himself who has been spited by the Jotun, and the two must team up and employ the help of the Nordic gods to do what they do. I'm thinking some parts you would be forced to use one character or the other, sometimes you'd choose, sometimes you'd have both (in the style of donkey kong country), with tag team attacks, and freely be able to switch characters mid level (they would have different skills sets, both in combat and platforming, so certain parts you would need to switch to a certain one, etc.)

We've already seen greek and atlantean. God of War 3 is set to come out soon too, so who knows what we'll see. I'm not as knowledgable in viking mythology as I'd like to be, but some special attacks could look like... Norse: -Using the Hammer of Thor to take out a large group of enemies, either by hitting the ground and causing an earthquake, summoning a lightning storm of sorts, or simply going crazy and smashing everyone. -Perhaps a flock of ravens that hold your enemies in place. Could be used in timed sections where you are trying to flee or where you need to stop a group of enemies to reach a button of sorts. Or to simply hold them in place as you kick their ass (Perhaps used against bosses to hold down an arm to stop it hitting or a leg to stop it from moving?) A flock of birds holding down a boss monster doesn't seem very realistic though. Egyptian: -A similar idea with the ravens except with insects, or maybe you could send a swarm of them that brings everyone life down by 50 percent or so.

Well, God of War does take some creative license with the Greek gods, so no doubt they could do it with the Norse ones. Hammer of Thor sounds like a good idea. Maybe the flock of ravens could do damage, kind of like the Army of Hades. For holding an enemy in place, there's a magic rope, I think it's called Glepnir, that is pretty much unbreakable. Maybe Odin's spear could be used as well, which is so well balanced it will always hot your intended target, even if you throw it badly.
I'm just imagining a cut seen now, Kratos and the Viking hero in bed with like 8 women.

Still waiting for that high definition derby game. I think FPS action-RPGs is where it's at right now. Fallout 3 was great and I hear good things about Bioshock (I saw it on Amazon used for $10, so I think I'm gonna have to make a purchase sometime soon.) Would love to see a simple shooter with leveled weapons...kind of like the Ratchet and Clank/Jak and Daxter games, except with a more adult-looking FPS. Is that how Resistance: Fall of Man works? I saw that one for $10-15 too...hmmm.

I was thinking more about that leveled weapon system last night. Imagine if each individual weapon had a skill tree like a traditional RPG...
For example, imagine a gun that starts out as an automatic rifle, like an AK-47, but it fires slower than most automatic rifles (say, 2 bullets per second.) When you level it up, you have 2 choices to start with. A speed upgrade, that doubles the speed, or a "splitter" upgrade that causes it to fire 2 bullets per shot, but at the same slow pace. Basically, do you want a precise gun that's going to take out a single enemy really fast, or a "crowd control" type of weapon? And different guns have different skill trees.

So, looking back on my list, - Metal Band never got made, but a couple things I mentioned did make it into other games. Rock Band 3 had an optional double bass pedal and backing vocals. Right now I'm playing Rocksmith, which has Caught in a Mosh, Blood and Thunder, Walk and War Ensemble, and different songs by Lamb of God, Dethklok, Disturbed and Trivium as standard or DLC songs.
- God of War 4 takes place in Norse mythology
- There was a popular flash game called Five Minutes to Kill Yourself that was similar to the suicide game idea.

My "FPS RPG" sounds similar to most FPS online modes nowadays, or Borderlands.
