I’ve known you forever, like the sun and the stars. Never quite been together, but never so far apart. So I’ll say farewell one time, hope I don’t have to twice When we meet again someday, well I’ll find that quite nice
It’s hard to say goodbye, everyone knows it’s true. But at least it’s quite finite, you know what to do. The hardest is hello, in a new place in time. And loving another, with that old face in mind.
And here’s another summer breeze, the sun shines day by day And here’s the autumn’s falling leaves, in which the children play And here’s the winter’s savage freeze, that feels here to stay Remember me oh please, though the years may pass away. Remember me oh please, though the years may pass away.
Now that I’m out here, the world seems so big And a man ruled by fear, will break like a twig So I won’t be afraid, no I won’t turn around. Like a pillar of salt, I won’t crash to the ground.
And here’s another summer breeze, the sun shines day by day And here’s the autumn’s falling leaves, in which the children play And here’s the winter’s savage freeze, that feels here to stay Remember me oh please, though the years may pass away. Remember me oh please, though the years may pass away.

Damn, that's pretty good Elfie. Why haven't you ever submitted anything before, if you can write like that?

I don't like anything I write when I'm in a good state of mind, but when I'm sleep-deprived I tend to be more creative/emotional and I get the added benefit of falling back on my fatigued state as an excuse if it sucks. It's win-win for me really.
Anyone can feel free to diss it, because I was really tired when I wrote it.
