Yes, i had to do it.
I was looking foward to the game, sounded cool, liked 3 and VC. But...then i saw some screen shots and an article about it in GMR. And now...I CAN'T WAIT! This game looks and sounds amazing. Who else is wetting their pants in anticipation for this one!?

I read up on it a bit...we all thought Vice City was HUGE and was limitless and stuff...you can never get bored with that game right? *still plays it* Well, there are 3 cities on this game (Los Angelas, Los Vegas, and San Franciso, with a bit of Navada in between each). Each city is about the size of Vice City! Plus all the land in between each city (maybe like the islands in between the 2 major pars of VC). I/We'll be playing this one for a LOOONG time. *waits for October(?)* Note: The cities aren't actually named LA/Las Vegas and stuff, thats just what they're based on.

I could try to list it all...but that would take forever. I goto Gamespot.com alot for the news. And then GMR (fromaly known as Gamer) magazine. It has like...5 pages on it in this months issue. Plus a bunch of crap about the older games. Here's a short bit from the article in GMR... "San Andreas, much like Liberty City and Vice City, is a fictional area inspired by real-world settings. San Andreas is analogous to Califiornia (with a dash of Nevada thrown in for good measure), with Los Santos being the equivalent of Los Angeles. Likewise, San Fierro is San Francisco, and Las Venturas is tantamount to the gambling capital of the world, Las Vegas (although it's contained within San Andreas' boundries). Each one of these cities is at least as big as Vice City, and that's not counting the vast expanses of land in between." They also have an interview with the creator of the games, so i'm guessing thats pretty accurate. You can look into GMR at www.1up.com

I got it in November or so. Right now I'm stuck on "Beat Down on B-Dup", the mission where you have to take the territory and then invade the crackdealer's house that's guarded by several guys with AK-47s. Anyone have any advice?

What part of the city is this in?
I'm only in the 2nd part right now, so i'm guessing i'm pretty far behind you.

After you get done some missions in the 3rd city, you have to go back to the first city and do some more. That's where it is.
No idea how to do it, might just cheat or something. I didn't want to, but I might just have to.

I play this game mostly to listen to the radio and drive around. It's nice and peaceful, but if I am feeling bored with that or angry or somethin that's what missions and guns are for

Static: Are you still stuck on that B-dub misson? I just got to it this morning and beat it... If you are still stuck on it, which part of the mission are you stuck on? Edit- Just read your original post on the mission. At the house, i just shot the car until it exploded, it kills most of the guards. Then i just picked the rest off with an AK-47 from behind a tree.

Well, I finally beat it. Here's what I did:
One of my friends had managed to get a rhino without cheating (He actually got 6 stars, stole it, and put it in a garage, then saved)
So, what I did was take Sweet to B-Dup's old house, then after talking to the crack head, drop him off at the garage, take the rhino to Glen Park, get out, shoot 3 ballas, fight the gang war by running all the ballas over with the rhino, then once I took the territory it didn't register that I had completed that part of the mission because Sweet wasn't with me, so I went back to the garage, put the Rhino in, took Sweet back to Glen Park in a car, did drive bys on the house until my car blew up, then used the frame of the car for cover while I shot all the guards with an AK.

Even though we are talking about 8 months later, thats where I am at the dude in the other casino as well. I haven't played in awhile, and quite frankily, as protective as my parents are, am surprised they haven't confiscated my game yet. With all the media out there focusing on the sex scenes and the kid that shot up like 3 cops with a gun trying to imitate a gta fantasy.
