I tried making an acount with this demo i stole from my brother, it gives you 14 free days right? Ok, so it tells me to put in an acount name, i plug it in. Does some type of handshake and then i download like 2 patches that takes awhile to download. So i finish all that, i go to login, and it tells me the acount i made doesn't exist. Turns out i have to submit credit card info and all of that so i can get my 14 free days is it cheap the first month to play? I read somewhere here it's like 180 USD to play online and the same people who said isn't worth it are now playin git so yeah.

I assume you're talking about World of Warcraft.
The first month is free to play. You shouldn't have to enter any credit card information...The card it asked you for is the game card that you have to use to pay for additional months.

So i still have to put in credit card information which i don't have edit2: I didn't know/forgot you could use prepaid cards..

...I wasn't aware you had to enter credit card information. Yeah, i did . I entered the cd key, and then it said "choose a credit card" i chose Visa and then it said "we need your info" i didn't put it in, and then it was like "GIVE US YOUR SOUL " i told it "i'm not married!" and then i read that i don't have to put in credit card information but should I decide to upgrade I should, so for whatever contradictory reason i must put in the info and my dad doesn't like that. I need a job , but another one cause my current one only is considered a job when we have an event at the thingy edit: my mom said she's going to get me a credit card . She is also going to give me an acount and give me a monthly allowance edit2: make that a debit card edit3: which i will get tomorrow edit4: HARRRRRRRR , i won't get it for a few weeks

I have a credit card. Let me give you one piece of advice, though it seems blatantly obvious: If you CAN, pay with cash. It's so easy to overspend with a credit/debit card. You don't realize how much money you're spending, because you're not pushing over that cash right then and there. I'm very responsible with my money, but even so I am shocked occasionally that I just went on a spree with the card, and instead of getting the 1 shirt I wanted, I got 4, just because! I had nothing to remind me just how much I was spending. On another note, tell me how WoW is oh yeah, my mom said i will get like a checkbook when i get teh card? It's a thing you write in with info on how much and what you spent your money, i will try that. I heard that a lot, but it's never bad to hear it again. It keeps me on track . I don't have a car, so i can't drive to the mall to get the blasted card.... I don't want the dad to drive me to the mall, stupid independent hormones kicking in . I'm glad someone likes WoW, i mean have you read their forums over at blizzard? It's non stop complaining about the game "oh they nerfed my guy!" "oh the hunters are too strong!" "i can't get a higher rank!" yet i still go there to read them complain I can't wait to start playing

Keep in mind that people use the WoW forums at Blizzard to complain, chiefly, that is. The vast majority loves the game, but doesn't POST about it on the Blizzard forum. oh yes, speaking of which i posted a link to one in "the thread". It wasn't a complaint thread but this guy got on this user's arse about a few typos. Turns out the guy was a 5th grader lol

Yea, the game is fun if you don't worry about "balance" issues and crap like that.

Alex, you've never even played it. You only say you hate it because a lot of people from WCIII went to play it.
LK, if you don't have a credit card, go to a gaming store in your area, and buy a game card for WoW. You can get them for like 60 days only I think though. There is a code on the back of them that you punch in on the website once you make your account.

And from what I heard the flavor of the game runs out pretty quick. So I formed my opinion based on that.
