Ok, so Jesus tried to explain how to fix firewalls and Omeguz says he knows how...but whenever i try to explain it to a tourny player...well, nothing happens. Could either of you...or both, explain how to do this in like, steps or something? I know the port is 4747(still not sure if you need to know that or not) and erm...if the players need to know their IP (i THINK they do) they can get it at IPchicken.com. So...explain please

-Go to 'control panel/network connections/', open the file named 'Local Area Connection' and click the 'Support' tab. -Write down both the 'IP address' number, and the 'Default Gateway' number. -The 'Default Gateway' is your routers IP. -The 'IP Address' is your computers personal IP. -Type that number into your browser. -A login window should pop-up -The most common login is usually 'Username:________ Password: admin', but it can be different. The default login could be found in the routers manual. -Once logged in, an interface should show up. Click the 'Port Forwarding' or 'Applications & Gaming' tab. -Type in the programs name in the first box, or a short-form for easy organization. Type the port needed in the second box, and again in the third. (ex.- 4747/4747) -If the protocol is not known, simply select the 'both' option. -The last box is the IP of the computer you want the ports to be open to. Type in the last 3 digits of the IP Address that was written down earlier. -Check the enable box. PS- The IP address found at www.IPchicken.com does not work as the IP address needed. edit: Changed the grammar to be more instructive.

Ok, well...everyone who needs to know this for the tourny is from this site, so you can talk directly to them, Jesus.
And i guess if you need your IP, ask Omeguz or something, he can get your IP for you and stuff...

There has to be another port that has to be opened.
We only know one port. That port has to be the calling port. I had this exact same problem when trying to play Duke Nukem 3d over the internet.
I'm gonna try to look into this more, and will try to fix it as soon as possible.

Yea, that's what most people's problem is. They can call but can't recieve. So the problem is, when 2 people with firewalls play, neither can call eachother since neither can recieve calls. I guess DA and I will have to host.

It has appeared to me that Magi-Soft didn't implement a hosting feature for people behind firewalls.
They kinda prepared to handle people with firewalls, but it's not as good a solution as I had hoped.
I'm still gonna look into it, but this is what I've come up with so far.
