Actually, Outrage Shaman has 2 red mana symbols too, so the Advocate takes 3. I always thought of 'comes into play' effects as if the creature was walking into a room. All the creatures in play are in a room, and then Outrage Shaman walks into the room (comes into play) and says "Rawr, I'm going to deal damage = to the number of red symbols in this room" and counts up 3 of them, since it has 2 on itself.

Why is there an Outrage Shaman in Judgment sealed?

You know, they really need to put that in the official rulings on EM. I looked it up, and I thought the Advocate was safe. All right, fine then...
Draw, untap, tap 2 mana, play Exoskeletal Armor on Tireless Tribe (having an extra creature in my graveyard now works to my advantage), and end turn.
Life: 17 CIH: 2
Forest (tapped) Forest Mountain Mountain Plains (tapped)
Werebear (1/1) Confessor (1/1) Tireless Tribe w/Exoskeletal Armor (3/3)
Graveyard: Benevolent Bodyguard, Nullmage Advocate, Reckless Charge, Testament of Faith
Arcanis: To answer your question, Ape Killer put Eventide cards in as extra special bonuses.

I don't know what eM has up, but I have the comprehensive rules on my computer, and here is what it says. I bolded the important stuff.
410.10a Comes-into-play abilities trigger when a permanent enters the in-play zone. These are written, “When [this object] comes into play, . . . “ or “Whenever a [type] comes into play, . . .” Each time an event puts one or more permanents into play, all permanents in play (including the newcomers) are checked for any comes-into-play triggers that match the event.
And then of course, when the ability is on the stack, the numbers are determined until it resolves, as it says here.
402.6. Once activated or triggered, an ability exists independently of its source as an ability on the stack. Destruction or removal of the source after that time won’t affect the ability. Note that some abilities cause a source to do something (for example, “Prodigal Sorcerer deals 1 damage to target creature or player”) rather than the ability doing anything directly. In these cases, any activated or triggered ability that references information about the source because the effect needs to be divided checks that information when the ability is put onto the stack. Otherwise, it will check that information when it resolves. In both instances, if the source is no longer in play, its last known information is used.
So basically, Outrage Shaman goes into play, and it's triggered ability goes on the stack, THEN the mana symbols are counted, and it does 3 damage because it counts itself, as it had to be in play for it's ability to triggered in the first place.
And yes, I added an Eventide booster to each pool since the sign ups were around the time the set was released on MWS.

Fascinating. Of course, since I play old-school style in real life I'm still a bit fuzzy on the stack.
*pokes Sean*
Dude, it's your turn. I'm 29, I want to get this game in before I die from old age!
