I definately like RPGs. I get to be like a person and it is interactive. Also, it is like realistic in the way that leveling up from experience in most of the games. Even though there are some RPGs I just can't get into, like ones that are kind of boring without interesting things happening. A game that features drama, action, love and realistic leveling up that makes you stronger in many ways, also having many weapons and armor to equip yourself with. For me it doesn't get much better then that.

I'm kind of torn. I voted for Roleplaying, but I also like Action and Simulations a lot, too. Can we vote more than once?

Not online yet....where I live in Germany (near Frankfurt) there are like 2 MAJOR internet companies, and the rest is basically small, poor companies - resulting in them firewalling EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE! again resulting in me not being able to play online, but im working on it. Imm PM you as soon as I got it working - we sould get some people fromthe forum together ( I know Morb plays too)

k well when you beat the game you can do hardcore. try to get good at that since it is the best way to play. much more difficult since i play on classic a lot. But we can do whatever you want when you get on. By the way online is filled with dupes and hacks so try and avoid those. Also there are lots of people that will try to scam you so dont fall for that. They can not teach you how to dupe. Well 99/100 cant

I have to say that RPGs are awesome, but I also like strategy. Needless to say, I don't get out much.

RPG, but Legend of Zelda was just so awesome that I was tempted to vote for adventure.

It was a tie for me in RPG's and Strategy. My favorite PC games are the Age of Empires games, and RGP's are just so fun. But since RGP's already has alot of votes i just went with Strategy.

I will play almost anything. There's good games in almost all of them. For shooters there's GoldenEye, Metroid Prime, and Jedi Outcast. Adventure has Zelda of course. There's plenty in the others too. Don't forget platformers guys. Though they tend to be childish, they're still fun sometimes.
One more thing: the only genre I avoid almost entirely is sports. Football, baseball, basketball, soccer, etc...They don't really do anything for me. The occasional racing game is ok though, I'll admit.
Edit by piñata: Merged double post. Sorry, Scythe -- I know it seems I'm picking on you, but I'm not really. Just ask Elfie and Jacen, who have lost just as many posts to me as you have.

my gaming tastes mirror Scythe's. I find that there's a place for every type of game in my gaming library. I'll admit that the RPG section is a bit weightier than the rest, but I value all of them. Except sports. Sports are for playing in real life. Games should contain an element that is not found in everyday life.

I'll have to agree with scythe/devo. I'll play just about anything except Sports. I don't think racing games are that bad either, as long as they aren't those realistic driving games like Gran Turismo. I hate that game. That and nascar games. I like racing games where you actually get off the ground and when you hit a wall or something, it actually does SOMETHING to your car. But sports...they just suck ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/549948/images/QNICkmsxRMbizhF0RVal.gif)
