Yea, I actually got the game. Only because my brother and I decided to split the cost, but oh well. Anyone else here play? My name is Geroth, and I'm on Eredar, which is my guild's server. At the moment I'm a level 26 warlock who's questing in Duskwood...The game is really amazing, the attention to detail they put into it is breathtaking. My only complaint thusfar is that the constant amount of running back and forth between points makes it hard to really get into.

No, I don't have the game and I don't really have an interest in starting to play it either. I'm hardcore WC3 all the way. This explains why you haven't ben in Clan CSS too much lately.

This makes me droolIs there any way to get a free demo? I just want to check it out before I buy, obviously. i got mine from a computer magazine, but whenever you buy the game you get a 10 day free trial thing. btw, that intro reminds me of lord of the rings intro for some reason. I guess it's the whole map thing with the chick talking.

Yea, that preview is awesome. It's the preview that you see when you first load up the game.

So, pleaaase tell me about the game. LK got me a guestpass (THANKS AGAIN!), but I'm not going to use it until I got my computer fixed. What are you guys doing with the game? What DO you do, what what what?!?! well you can check out the website, but all that will do is get you excited . Well you choose a race, and character class. You begin doing n00bie quests, and once you reach level 5 or so you pick two professions. You most likely will want to pick the two that go best with your character class such as blacksmithing/mining for paladin or skinning/leatherowork for rogue. If you play for like a very long time, your character get's tired. This has never happened to me, but if you stay for awhile at a town you get rested which allows you to get twice the amount of xp you would normally get. It is not like Diablo II, by using your weapons more it builds up your ability to use them which will allow you to attack monsters better. You don't get to add attributes like in D2, but it adds them automaticly everytime you level up. you have skills and talents, talents you buy from your class trainer. Each class get's different talents. Skills you get at level 10, you get one per level. Skills add on to your talents and make them better, you can also unlearn skills at your class trainer. and you can get drunk in the game

Well, basically you create a character that belongs to a faction, either Alliance or Horde. You start out at level 1, and complete quests and kill monsters to gain experience, eventually leveling yourself up to 60. The cool part about this is that it's an MMORPG, so you're basically living in a massive world, where you can interact with anyone, and kill the opposite faction if you come across them.

and kill the opposite faction if you come across them. Not really, like if you're in a normal server. Typically a level 60 orc would run past me and i would wave. Such friendly green men

ROFL - that's....very well put, LK So what happens when you die? you lose 10% durability on your armor so you have to repair, but the overall stay's the same. Like if it is one hundred, it would be 90/100. You also do not drop any gold, so you run to your corpse and you can be at a certain distance to resurrect yourself (other characters can resurrect you too) or you can ask the angel in the graveyard (that's where you end up when you die) to revive you on the spot, which will cost an extra 25% durability, you also get like a summoning sickness thing

Nicely put LK, except you mixed up Talents and Skills. You buy Skills/Spells from your trainer, and get Talents at level 10.
That being said, I'm done WoW. School is starting soon, and there's no way I will have time to play when I have to focus so much on school.

I agree, i get back from school like at 1:30 or so, and from there i guess people would think i would get it done by 3 or something right? Wrong, i got it done like at around 10, and even then i wasn't playing a lot of WoW between those two time periods.. I will also (hopefully) start working again on the 16th. So it will start after school and end like maybe 11 noon at the latest. That doesn't give me a lot of time to do anything really

The thing about WoW is that once you are a higher level, you need to commit like 2-3 hours of your time to WoW once you get on to make it worthwhile. You can't just log on for like 30 minutes and expect to get anything done.

I've been told that Blizzard basically keeps your account active forever... Which I'm hoping for really.

Heh, WoW and Battle.Net are seperate. In fact after 3 months or so of inactivity your battle.net account is deleted.
