About how long have you been playing Magic? I've been playing since Tempest/Portal: Second Age. That translates into about 5-6 years ;D.

I've been playing since Ice Age. Actually, I think Homelands was released about two months after I started playing, but I'm not entirely sure.

The first expansion released after I started was Weatherlight, so that's about 7 years.
Ice Age was still widely available back then, too.
Then, sometime in between Urza's Legacy and Urza's Destiny, I quit, and I have just started again a few months ago.
It's kinda sad, because I really think if I had stuck with it, I could be winning tournaments by now - instead I have to start all over again pretty much!

I used to play with my cousin arround like...when DA was playing, 4th edition/Ice Age etc. But i never had cards of my own...just played my cousin when i was like...6 Then i started buying from random people and from stores arround Invasion/Masques block... I remember buying a Tourny pack of Masques but i didn't know what it was since i didn't even know how to play...i just liked the art. ;D I eventually learned to play about 3 years ago with a 7th Edition starter...computer game...thingy. I've been hooked since then.

Almost 9 years. My cousin taught me when the fall after my 11th birthday. I've been playing ever since, though I, like an idiot, took a break shortly after the Rath Cycle and rejoined around Torment, though I still traded and bought cards every now and then.

I've been playing since Tempest, and right now I am able to say that I am an experienced player. I was taught by a friend so that was pretty awesome, then we'd go out and skateboard, until he got busted for weed possesion, but thats a different story. Ever since I had started playing at Ground Zero, the card shop near my house, and Compendium a card shop 40 minutes from my house. So MTG is teh awesome.
