Final Fantasy XII for the PS2. When I first got this game, I played to the very end, but then never finished it for some reason. I had 60 hours of game play...and then just stopped...right before the final boss. >_< Edit: I also did the same with Final Fantasy X-2 a few months ago. I stopped after I first got the game at the...'music' room, you know? Right before the final boss. But I started playing it again and finished it not long ago. I did that with alot of games, so I'm hoping to go on a rampage and finish all those games I have 90 percent completed. Not sure why, but for a long time I did that with almost every game I played. I don't think I was interested in the challenge so every time I was at the end and a game started getting difficult I got bored or frustrated so I broke controllers or quit and whatnot.

Cancel PS2 rampage. I've been playing through all the extra stuff on Final Fantasy XII, so I havn't really played anything else sense then. However, I played though Magic: The Gathering Battlegrounds on the PC again. I remember this game being frustratingly difficult, but I played through it pretty easily. Also unlocked all the characters again through arcade mode. Also reached 50,000 MP points on Mario Party DS. Yep, I am that much of a loser. I now have all the badges...

Warcraft III It's actually the first time I played through the campaign. I kept getting bored and never finished it until now. ....I still need the expansion, but I'm not paying $20 with it. I don't enjoy paying $20 for a NEW expansion pack, let alone an old one. Also hit 90,000 MP points on Mario Party DS. Jesus I'm pathetic. >_<

The God of War games on the PS2 are my favorite of all time. 12 hours straight killing skeletons is pretty bad, I have to admit. And when I first read that, I read it as FFX-2, which would have been REALLY pitiful. I played through that game, but I had no inclination to kill skeletons for 12 hours. I didn't spend alot of time on XII either, but I have close to 90 hours or so on FFX. Most of my characters hit 9,999 and the Magus Sisters (and possibly the other aeons) can all hit 99,999. I can kill the final boss in 2 or 3 hits. On the topic of being a loser, I played through Demolition Champions recently. The reason you've never heard of it is because it's a giant piece of crap. So why did I play through it? ...no clue... Oh, and I reached 99,999 MP points on Mario Part DS, which is the max... I need to get back into gaming, I have a few unfinished PS3 games because I suddenly lost interest in video games before I could finish them.

I finished the Story Mode for all the characters in Soul Calibur IV (except the Apprentice, which I havn't unlocked yet...) This game is great. There is so much strategy in it now. It still requires plenty of skill to compete at the higher difficulty levels, but with enough planning you can really design some great characters. It can completely change the way you play altogether, and it makes the fights alot more interesting. For example, I have 1 character that uses Venom Fang (adds poison damage toa downed opponent) and Knockdown (increased knockdown power) so I can take someone's legs out and then hang out and watch their health drain. As soon as I unlock some better equipment I'll add an impact or soul gauge skill so I can block better while their health drains. I also have a guy that starts with 180 percent health and has HP Drain (steal HP with every hit) and he uses Astaroths weapon, so it's almost impossible to get his health down. And then I have a customized Misurugi with almost 160 percent attack strength and Start Dash (start the match with a short burst of increased stats) so I can sometimes kill people within the first 10-15 seconds of a match. His defense is 92 percent and HP is 104 percent so he's certainly not a bad character after the burst either! It's a great game. My only complaint about the Story mode is that the ending movies were a bit...lackluster. Many of them were just dialogue, with nothing interesting happening. However, some of them were really good, Zasalamel, Astaroth, and Darth Vader all had good lengthy videos for example. But many of them didn't, so it was a bit of a dissapointment.

I finished Chrono Trigger on the DS. It is one of the most over-rated games ever I think. Don't get me wrong, I loved it...for the first 15 hours or so. But after a while I just started getting incredibly bored. The fact that I was without power for 4 days is probably the only reason I finished it.
However, after I finished the storyline (which I had been bored with for 5-10 hours...) I started enjoying it a bit more again. It's a pretty good game, but anyone who lists it as one of the best games ever needs to play some newer RPGs...
I've got around 30 hours of game play though so it's still worth playing.

I did a cool thing this morning Super Marior World for the DS. I've beaten it a long time ago, but I finally unlocked and beat EVERYTHING, meaning I found all the secret exits in the star land place, beat all the special levels, and then found all the alternate exits in all the normal worlds. It played a video and then changed all the colors of the landscape. It also replaced some of the enemies (such as the turtles) with new enemies (instead of turtle shells the little things go in weird wooden mario/luigi heads.) Technically I still have 1 more thing to do, and that's gather up all the Yoshi coins in all the levels. I'll get around to doing that eventually.

I just finished Motorstorm on the PS3. It gets pretty damn frustrating towards the end. They definitely designed the AI to work against the player in every way possible. They use that old "rubber band technology" as I call it, where you can never really get ahead of the computer players, they are always right behind you. Also, the computer player don't seem to care whether they win or not, their sole purpose is to make you lose. On the last lap while turning around the last corner it's very common for a computer player to sacrifice itself to ram you into a wall. Also, some the maps were poorly designed and it's easy to simply explode for no reason because there is a slight bump in the road. It's a game that's fun to play if you got it free with your PS3, the mud is beautiful on HD (take a car in the mudpool and play around in that initial open area, the way the mud reacts to your vehicle is amazing) but I wouldn't recommend spending money on it. Here is a good example of the mud... image.com.com/gamespot/images/2007/063/reviews/928393_20070305_screen017.jpgThat mud was completely flat before the race(like in the bottom-right corner of the picture, which is untouched) The tracks are actually created by the vehicles traveling through it. If you went through it horizontally it would create a new set of tracks. The tracks are actually imprints in the mud too, not just skid marks or a preset image that resembles an imprint, and the sun light actually gleams on it at different angles. It's crazy!

I just finished House of the Dead: Overkill for the Wii. I played co-op with my sister. It was a bit too easy. I'm pretty sure it was impossible to die, whenever I got killed it just took half my points away and set me off again. I never died twice on the same level, but I'm sure it would have just halved my points again. After we bought shotguns it was even easier. We never had to play through a level twice. The graphics were TERRIBLE, if it was a game I bought 5 years ago on my PS2 I probably would have been dissapointed by how bad they are. Then there was the story...which was both hilarious and mind-numbingly stupid at the same time. Also, my sister and I beat it in 2 sittings. We played about an hour and a half the first time, and then 45 minutes the second time, and we were done. Despite all that, it was still fun to play. I wouldn't pay top-price for it. 50 bucks is WAY too much for 2 hours of playing time. Glad my sister bought it though.

This morning I finally finished up Lair on the Playstation 3. The controls absolutely killed the game for me. They were dreadful, and spoiled any fun I may have had while playing it. The graphics were lackluster at best, maybe the cutscenes were good, but the in-game models were pretty bad. The story was ok, unfortunately I forgot most of it before I finished because I never wanted to play it when I was sifting through my games. I think if they would have fixed the controls and allowed me to use the buttons it would have been pretty good, but the controls were just pathetic.

I've been on a roll. I just completed Tower of Souls on Soul Calibur IV. I've also completed the story mode with every character, so that's pretty much everything. (Still have to descend the Tower of Souls, but that's impossible... )

Damn, I'm on a video game rampage right now. This morning I ended the main storyline for Fallout 3 on the Playstation 3. Amazing game. Pretty funny how people (including myself) are complaining about the game actually ending, when we still get 30+ hours out of it (I had close to 40 before I decided to finish it out.) Plus, it's not too hard to just create a separate game file before the last section, which is what I did. I think people just got spoiled of the endlessness of Oblivion.

I just beat Heavenly Sword on the Playstation 3. Holy Forking crap why didn't I play this game a year ago when my sister first bought it? It was amazing. I was put off at first because it felt like a really bad button masher, but that went away real quick after I learned the counter-moves and whatnot. Also, the story and characters were great. I actually cared for them, a LOT, and the main bad guy is quite possibly the most diabolical bad guy EVER. And his lackeys were all terrific as well. LOVED this game.

Resident Evil: Deadly Silence This is actually the original Resident Evil game from the Playstation 1, technically it's Resident Evil: DS but instead of being that unoriginal (Like NEW Super Mario Bros, or Mario Kart DS, or Super Mario 64 DS) they decided to change the DS to Deadly Silence. Yea yea, very clever. Anyways, it's still really fun. Can be tough if you aren't good at conserving ammo in the beginning, but I wound up ending with 70+ handgun bullets so it wasn't too bad. The ending was a bit anti-climatic, I killed the final boss with about 4-5 shots from my bazooka with flame rounds. Not sure why it was so weak... I think it only actually touched me once...

I finally, FINALLY beat the campaign mode on Age of Empires: Age of Kings for the Nintendo DS. I was stuck forever on a Saladin mission, was frustrating as Fork. I also beat Asphalt: Urban GT for the Nintendo DS. The great thing about it -- No rubber band technology, meaning the game isn't based on luck like 90 percent of other racing games. I've officially finished every DS game I own (that's completable.) I also only have 1 PS3 game left to finish. I need some new games.
